Capturing the Thrill of Live Performance

Chinook Wind Productions is a mobile recording service specializing in live, on-site AUDIO and VIDEO recording of music, drama, dance and other performing arts.  We make professional audio recordings of  everything from church choirs to symphony orchestras, and broadcast-style multi-camera video of  almost anything that moves, from high school musicals to professional ballet.

We also design and produce custom video DVDs and audio compact discs to order, in small or large runs, providing one-stop service for artists and groups.

We have a 14-year record of service to schools, churches, community bands and orchestras and professional musicians in the Pacific Northwest.

We are based in Tacoma, WA., but we travel widely around the Northwest to record festivals, contests, music camps and other events.

As a service to commercial clients, we also maintain a small audio recording studio, principally for narration, voiceover and solo vocal work.

And we have a small side speciality in the recovery and restoration of sound from older media, such as 78 rpm records and vintage audio tape.

To explore our services in detail, click on any of the topics in the column to the left.

Note to RECORDING LAIR  clients

Chinook Wind Recording has assumed the location recording business of Recording Lair of Olympia, which has closed.   For details, click here
